Copy and paste the following line in to the HTML of the page.
Please note:
The above line is only an example. To see the correct line for one of your campaigns, kindly access the vdoPanel.
For further instructions, please refer to the detailed walk-thru below.
First and foremost, you should make sure that YOU are the right person for this job. If you are not the website administrator or content manager, you should probably contact that person and ask them to do this for you.
This step will vary depending on how your organization handles its websites(s). You may have to access your Content Manager or FTP Server, and access the latest version of the page on your website that you wish to add your vdo to. This will be a '.html' or '.htm' file for most websites, but it may have a different file extension depending upon how your organization has structured the website.
Make sure the page that you are modifying matches the URL you have set for your campaign. Don't worry if you get this wrong initially; simply click on the 'Edit' link for your campaign and change the URL so that it matches your page.
If, in the future, should you wish to position the vdo on a different page, all you need to do is create a new campaign (or 'Edit' an existing one) and add the vdo to the page as described here. Remember, once you have a vdo, you can create and modify any number of campaigns using that vdo completely free of charge.
Here comes the important step. You need to edit the HTML code of the page and insert the following line:
Please note:
The above line is only an example. To see the correct line for one of your campaigns, kindly access the vdoPanel.
This line needs to be inserted immediately before the closing </body> tag in your HTML code (or as close to the closing </body> tag as possible).
If you are using a website authoring package, such as Adobe Dreamweaver, you must switch to 'Code' view when adding this line.
Save the file and re-upload it to your website. Your vdo should now be live! To change the specifics of the vdo, such as where it appears on your page or how many times it plays for each viewer, simply access your vdoPanel and 'Edit' the campaign to make the desired changes - no change to your website is needed.
If you have followed these instructions and your vdo is not playing as you expected, there are several things to verify.
Make sure that you have modified the correct page, and that its URL matches that of the campaign.
Verify that the line you have pasted in to your page matches the one for that campaign, and that you have put it immediately before the closing </body> tag in your HTML code. To do this, access your website using a browser and view the source code of the page you have added the vdo to.
Verify that your campaign is not paused or capped using your vdoPanel.
